Galvanized steel cable crash fence impact tested in accorandance to PAS 68.
For high security sites and public areas.
Cable crash fence and gate system has passed the BSi PAS 68:2010 standard for the performance of vehicle security barriers and their supporting foundations when subject to a single horizontal impact. It will arrest a 7500 kg (7.5 tonne) vehicle travelling at 50 mph (80 km/h) within 7 m.
The system may be used as a stand-alone system. Additionally, this fence system may be retrofitted to reinforce any existing security fence. Cables are run in single unbroken lengths between end posts (at 6 m centres). The end posts are fitted with a distinctive crumple zone which absorbs impact energy before bring the truck to a halt.
