Application
ELITEpro™ shower channels are wide collection vessels used within wet room showers, and are offered in various lengths. Suits:
- En-Suites – small bathrooms where space efficiency is at a premium
- High End Designer Bathrooms – Large sizes add to the feeling of space within a shower area
- Refurbishments & New Build – universal drain can be used in all construction styles or contract types
- Floor Substrates – Designed especially for UK wooden board over joist floors (18 mm +) and can also concrete floors without alteration
Description
A stainless steel shower drain designed for all floor types, including UK style ‘wood over joist’ and concrete floors. Features include an off-set outlet with UK compliant trap (50 mm water seal), factory fitted waterproofing membrane, height adjustable frame and revisable grate to suit different depths of solid floor finish.
A flexible and easy to install high quality shower drain, ELITEpro™ suits all residential shower installations. Installation sealing kit (supplied) includes Waterproof Sealing membrane factory fitted in UK to surrounding flange.
Features and benefits:
- Suits refurbishment and new build projects, universal shower drain for all common floor substrates, incl. wood over joist, concrete screed etc.
- Very high quality polished 1.4301 (304) grade stainless steel chassis, improves wastewater outflow, and suits common household cleaners
- Outlet offset by 100 mm from the centre, accommodates varying site conditions with joists locations and directions
- With unique dual seal foul air trap system with UK regulatory 50 mm water seal (primary) and physical vapour barrier (secondary)
- Supplied as standard with UK style DN50 > 2” adaptor, and ‘trap noggin block’ to securely fix the trap body
- Optional traps offer vertical outlets, lower build in heights, or ultra-high flow rates. All trap options are rotatable through 360°
- Chassis incl. structural stainless steel installation flange to support the 17 mm deep chassis in common floorboards, with factory fitted
- waterproof sealing membrane, with a pressed V shaped gradient leading to the outlet, and a polished finish to aid water drainage.
- Standard waterproof sealing membrane is factory fitted to the chassis flange, to stop leaks by sealing the drain chassis to the floor substrate.
- Height adjustable stainless steel trim support ensures a foot friendly finish at the channel edge and allows tile floor finishes with a thickness of between 10 and 20 mm to be used.
- Removable stainless steel grate is reversible, offering a brushed finish cover or a recess to insert matching tiles
- For different material X-sections, use ELITEpro™ Mosaic for thin floor coverings, and ELITEpro™ Stone for thicker natural stone finishes
- Cross Sectional Profile : Channel: 19–22 mm.
