An acrylic waterborne ultrafine primer, used to consolidate porous and weak substrates and improve adhesion of surfaces in preparation for air and vapour control membrane installation.
Application
Apply Lime Prime by low pressure or with airless spray equipment with just one layer approximately 100 gr/m², depending on the porosity of the substrate.
- Shake before use.
- Remove dust and all friable parts from the substrate.
- The application of Lime Prime does not avoid the need for substrate preparation.
- Apply Lime Prime by low pressure spray or with airless spray equipment.
- Apply only 1 layer, approximately 100 gr/m², depending on the porosity of the substrate.
- Allow to dry before application of water-born dispersion coatings.
- Do not dilute.
- Apply only on porous substrates.
- Minimal application temperature : +5° C.
- To be applied between +5° C to +35° C.
- Do not apply in sunlight.
- Clean tools with water.
Suitable for use on:
- Lime-based substrates.
- Older dusty substrates to consolidate.
- Water sensitive substrates such as gypsum board and gypsum plaster.

Lime Prime is an acrylic waterborne ultrafine primer based on micro emulsions, applied on porous and less cohesive substrates prior to the application of Passive Purple®, Airtight White® or Passive Purple® External.

Lime Prime interior primer is a waterborne primer, applied on porous and less cohesive substrates, prior to the application of waterborne dispersion coatings. The use of this primer will consolidate the substrate and improve the adhesion of coatings on difficult substrates and reduce risk of surface defects. Typically used on older dusty substrates and porous substrates like concrete bricks, calcium silicate stone, renders.
