Licata Polyurethane Waterproof System

Polyurethane waterproof system, consisting of the following components:

Epoxy Cem TX A+B+C:

A thixotropic-free, three-component epoxy-cement system, capable of reticulating on damp surfaces. After only 48 hours (in ideal conditions of +20 °C and 60% R.H.), provides a compact waterproof yet permeable water vapor layer, suitable to receive the laying of parquet, PVC, linoleum, ceramics, epoxy coatings, polyurethane and cement-based leveling compounds.

LicaB and BTS 100:

Alkaline-resistant self-adhesive elastic tape, coated with an unwoven polypropylene fabric, specifically designed for waterproofing and sealant application, for perimeter joints, connections and areas subject to slight stresses.

• High elasticity across the whole width.
• Easy and quick to apply.
• Waterproof.
• Alkaline resistant.
• It does not require any special accessories such as corners, edges, etc.

Licalastic 150 PU:

A single-component, solvent-based waterproofing liquid membrane, made with polyurethane resins, water hardening and with high adhesion strength, applied with a roller, a brush or by spraying. Once polymerised, it creates a continuous and lasting waterproof system both on the exposed face and under the tile.

Features and benefits:

• UNI EN 1504-2 certified.
• Allows good breathability of the substrate.
• Good water vapour permeability.
• UV resistant.
• Retains its elastic properties, even at temperatures of between -30 °C and +80 °C.
• Can be walked over.

Top Layer 100 A+B:

Modified two-component, aliphatic polyurethane, coating, resistant to wear and ultra-violet rays, with a high degree of elasticity.

Features and benefits:

• UV resistant.
• Resistant to fresh and salt water, and detergents.
• Resistant to diluted acids.
• Active chlorine (maximum 0.5 % in water).
• Resistance in marine and industrial atmospheres.
• High binding power.
• High mechanical and superficial strength.
• Working temperature from -30 °C to +90 °C in air. Application with brush, roller and airless sprayer.
