Suitable to use where the disabled refuge area is within the fire fighting lift lobby of a building.
Up to 500 m distance is permitted between a master station and an outstation.
Type C outstations are designed to be used where the disabled refuge area is within the fire fighting lift lobby of a building. The refuge point is on the door front, and the fire fighting telephone is accessed by pushing the door. Picking up the telephone disables the refuge call point.
