Standard product features | Design: The manufacturer shall be able to provide leak detection system design and corresponding selection of system components, system layout, schematic drawings and electrical schedules. Installation: The leak detection and location system shall be installed strictly in accordance with the design plans, tested and commissioned strictly in accordance with manufacturer instructions and closely coordinated with all sub-contractors. Hydrocarbon fuel sensing cables and sensing probes shall be installed after emergency generators, dual fired boilers, all piping, and all other mechanical work has been completed, and prior to installation of other power distribution cabling. The contractor shall prepare floor surface for cable installation, install hold down clips for sensing cable, route and fix the sensing cable, route and fix any interconnect accessories such as jumper cable, sensing probes, branch connectors, leader cables and end terminations. The installer shall be responsible for providing a clean and functional system. |
Product Options | Modular sensing cable: - TraceTek TT5000: Four wire construction (two sensing, one alarm and one continuity wire) with no exposed metal (to ensure corrosion resistance), with the core encased in a radiation cross-linked conductive-polymer jacket surrounded by a fluoropolymer braid. The sensing wires shall also covered in a conductive fluoropolymer (to provide continuous verification of sensing circuit integrity). Features:
Technical characteristics:
Fast fuel point sensor: - TraceTek TT-FFS: Resettable, reusable and testable, and does not react to rain, snow, water or condensation. Mounted at a low point of a containment sump or containment area, it is suitable for use with model leader cable, modular branch connectors and jumper cables, and can be installed on floor mounted brackets.
