LAD Counter Flaps - Lift Assist Flap Damper

Particularly suitable for counter flaps at bars, restaurants, and receptions, the ‘soft down’ motion-control of Lift-Assist Dampers provides smooth, safe-closing motion and is adjustable to suit the weight and size of different flaps.

Lift-Assist Dampers (LAD) are fitted with patented soft close technology that ‘catches’ a flap late in its closing arc, preventing slamming and making even the heaviest lids and flaps feel lightweight as they are eased to a close. They also work the other way, with lift-assist torque helping with upwards motion.

LAD dampers can be retrofitted to units without having to replace existing hinges.
