Application

The membranes are suitable for direct exposure to weathering and can be used to waterproof unventilated and ventilated flat roofs, pitched roofs, green roofs, terraces, balconies, roof gardens, as well as for the waterproofing of underground garages and lining of tanks.

The material has a manufacturer’s 20-year guarantee. There is also a 25-year insurance-backed guarantee available upon request.

Description

Thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO), single ply roofing membrane offering excellent application characteristics, flexibility and weldability. Formulated for easy and uncomplicated jointing of the seams due to a wide welding temperature window. Overlap joints require no chemical cleaning prior to welding.


TPO membrane with embedded glass mesh: KÖSTER TPO membrane is a polyolefin based thermoplastic roofing and waterproofing membrane with centrally-embedded glass fibre mesh. The membrane can be loose-laid under ballast, or mechanically fastened.


TPO membrane with embedded glass mesh and polyester fleece backing: KÖSTER TPO F membrane is a polyolefin-based thermoplastic roofing and waterproofing membrane with centrally-embedded glass fibre mesh and fleece-laminated underside. The membrane can be fully or strip-adhered with KÖSTER PUR Membrane Adhesive, or fully adhered with hot bitumen. It can also be loose-laid under ballast, or mechanically fastened.

The membrane overlap joints are always hot air-welded.
