The 100% Knauf System Performance Warranty guarantees that your Knauf systems are:

Manufactured from the highest quality raw materials in state-of-the-art factories. Products comply with UK and/or EU standards and are subject to rigorous quality assurance procedures.

System testing conducted at UKAS accredited laboratories or equivalent recognised (under ILAC MRA) European testing facilities for fire resistance and acoustic sound insulation testing with continuous factory production control testing to review and maintain published performances.

Fully supported at every stage of the project by Knauf’s market-leading technical and sales support personnel, both pre-site and during construction.

For paint finishes: System must be taped and jointed using Knauf Joint Filler (Premium) or Knauf Joint Cement Premium and Knauf Joint Tape (Paper). Or alternative Knauf jointing compounds manufactured to EN 13963.

Knauf Wallboard Primer applied once taping and jointing completed.

Prior to where paint decoration is required. For preparation for decoration of where gypsum plaster skim is required, the outer layer of plasterboard joints is required to be taped and filled, using Knauf Joint Filler (Premium) and Knauf Joint Tape (Paper) meeting quality level 1 in accordance with Eurogypsum - Drywall Jointing and Finishing - Surface quality level classification.

For application where gypsum skim finish is required, the Knauf system is to be taped and filled using Knauf jointing compounds. When using Knauf Moisture Panel or Knauf Performance Plus, the applicator of gypsum skim finish is required to check if pre-treatment is required.

Fire resistance

EI 120 tested in accordance with EN 1364-1.

Sound insulation

65 dB when tested to BS EN 10140-2. 59 dB (Rw + Ctr) when tested to BS EN 10140-2.

Duty rating (to BS 5234-2)

Severe Duty in accordance with BS 5234-2. Clause 1.6.2 and 1.6.3 of Annex B and C.
