Application

For use beneath mechanically fixed/ fully adhered single-ply waterproofing, and partially bonded built-up felt and mastic asphalt flat roofing systems.

Description

A tapered version of Kingspan Thermaroof TR27, Kingspan Thermataper TT47 board is designed for use beneath mechanically fixed or fully adhered single-ply non-bituminous roofing systems.


The Kingspan Thermataper range has been specifically designed to prevent water ponding, the most common cause of failure of flat roofs.


U-value calculations for the Kingspan Thermataper range incorporate BS EN ISO 6946: 2017- Annex E (Building Components and Building Elements). Annex E outlines the calculation procedure to determine the total thermal transmittance of tapered insulation - what is termed the 'Annex E U Value'.


Kingspan Thermataper TT47 is manufactured under a management system certified to ISO 9001: 2015 (Quality Management Systems. Requirements), ISO 14001: 2015 (Environmental Management Systems. Requirements), ISO 45001: 2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems), ISO 50001: 2018 (Energy Management Systems. Requirements with guidance for use) and and ISO 37301: 2021 (Compliance Management Systems. Requirements with guidance for use).


It is also manufactured in accordance with the Harmonised Standard BS EN 13165: 2012 + A2: 2016 (Thermal insulation products for buildings- Factory made rigid polyurethane foam (PUR) products- Specification).
