Description

Structurally insulated panel (SIP) for use within, or fixed to the outside of, the structural frame of a building for infilling apertures and sheathing.

Consists of a high performance fibre-free rigid urethane insulation core, sandwiched between two layers of Oriented Strand Board type 3 (OSB/3).

As standard, panels are PEFC Chain of Custody certified in accordance of the TUV NORD CERT auditing and certification procedures and are subject to regular surveillance audits. Upon request, the panels can achieve FSC (FSC-C109304) certification.

Kingspan TEK Cladding Panel (172 mm)

Standard product features

Panel size:

  • Maximum (l x w): 7.5 x 1.22 m.
  • Minimum: Can be cut down to 0.2 x 0.2 m to fit the design of the building.

Total panel thickness:

172 mm, comprising of a 142 mm insulation core and 15 mm OSB/3 facing either side.

Facing:

Faced both sides with a maximum of 15 mm OSB/3 autohesively bonded to the insulation core.

Core:

High performance, fibre-free rigid urethane insulation manufactured with a blowing agent that has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP).

Thermal conductivity:

  • Core: 0.024 W/m·K.
  • Facing: 0.13 W/m·K.

Density:

  • Core: 33 kg/m³.
  • Facing: 650 kg/m³.

Responsible sourcing:

Certified to BES 6001 (Framework Standard for the Responsible Sourcing of Construction Products) for boards produced at Kingspan Insulation’s Pembridge and Selby manufacturing facilities.
