Load-bearing phenolic insulation for building services pipework.
On cold water applications Kooltherm Insulated Pipe Support Inserts shall be used to minimise the risk of thermal bridging, limit the formation of condensation and facilitate the installation of a continuous vapour barrier. On low temperature hot water (LTHW) services, Kooltherm Insulated Pipe Support Inserts shall be used to limit overall system heat loss, and to minimise the risk of heat transfer through supporting structures. Insulated Pipe Support inserts shall match the stated thickness of pipe insulation.
Kooltherm Insulated Pipe Support Inserts provide optimal load-bearing capacity to support the compressive loads imposed by pipework carrying water or other liquids.
They are designed for use in pipe supports, hanger brackets and clamps, offering protection against insulation compression.
Kooltherm Insulated Pipe Support Inserts are pre-formed and pre-cut into sections, with a foil finish that serves as an integral vapour barrier. They include a self-adhesive overlap for ease of installation. They incorporate an integral metal spreader plate to enhance structural support where specified in manufacturer's guides.
Standards:
Kingspan Kooltherm Insulated Pipe Support Inserts with aluminium foil facing are CE marked to EN 14314 and are manufactured to the highest standards under a management system certified to:
Sustainability:
CFC-free and HCFC-free with negligible ozone depleting potential (negligible ODP) and a low global warming potential (GWP) of ≤5.
Environmental
Kooltherm Insulated Pipe Support Inserts are manufactured to BS EN ISO 14001: 2015.
