Description

Arched rooflights that can be used for natural daylighting, ventilation and smoke and heat extraction.

Kingspan Arcade Plus is a thermally broken continuous rooflight with a large span (1000–6000 mm) which can be individually adapted to the static requirements. The rooflight is suitable for use in new buildings or in renovation of heated commercial and office buildings to trade fair, sports and exhibition halls.

For every continuous rooflight solution, there is also the matching support construction in galvanized sheet steel. Depending on the light band span and the design of the glazing, two different inclination angles (25° and 45°) of the support will be used. Thermal insulation is guaranteed up to a height of 80 mm.

The rooflight flap comprises multi-chambered polycarbonate panels of the same thickness as the rest of the Arcade Plus rooflight, in an thermally broken aluminium/ PVC frame. The flaps can be opened for daily aeration and ventilation as well as for smoke extraction. The required fall arrest and safeguards are compatible with current Kingspan Light+Air rooflight systems.

Width:

The bearing structure consists of natural blank, extruded aluminium sections placed 1060 mm apart, 703 mm apart or 530 mm apart depending on required wind load and/ or snow load.

Flap:

Flap type (full or ridge) will vary dependent on size chosen and span width. Consult manufacturer's literature for information.
