Description

The Kestrel Thermal Flat Top Rooflight System is suitable for most standard flat roof constructions and covering, e.g. lead, copper, zinc, sedum, rubber EPDM, asphalt, GRP fibreglass.


Available in three different designs; Fixed, Ventilation or Egress. The system has been designed to allow the glass to be removed in the event of double glazed unit failure. Using a removable PVC cassette to which the glass is bonded, it is mechanically fixed to the frame, therefore only the cassette will need replacing in the event of glass replacement.

It is preferable that IGU's be assembled with silicone edge seal to prevent degradation from UV light. 

28.4 mm - (6 mm toughened outer, 16 mm cavity, 6.4 mm laminated inner).

30.8 mm - (8 mm toughened outer, 14 mm cavity, 8.8 mm laminated inner).

Triple glazing.

44–48 mm with varying make-ups available. Recommended triple glazing make up: 6 mm toughened/14 mm spacer/6 mm toughened/14 mm spacer/ 6.4 mm laminated inner.
