Flexible closed cell rubber pipe insulation manufactured without the use of halogenated flame retardants. Suitable for use in computer data-centres and Lloyds Register Approved for use offshore.
Flexible closed cell insulation that is free from halogens, Chlorines, Bromines and Deca Bromine, Kaiflex HFplus combines excellent thermal energy saving properties with a chemical structure that minimises the risks of stress corrosion cracking in some types of stainless steel pipe.
Kaiflex HFplus tubes are 1.2 m long and can be used to prevent condensation and save energy. Tubes can be either sleeved over new pipework or slit and pulled around existing pipework with the seam then sealed using adhesive.
Being free from halogens also makes Kaiflex HFplus appropriate for some specialist applications, including insulating pipework in data-centres and offshore.
