Description

An injection-moulded polypropylene box with a polyester foam gasket fixed to the sides.

The product will limit unwanted air leakage between a ceiling void and an external wall cavity and thereby minimize heat loss by air.

Features and benefits:

  • Available in a range of sizes to fit on the end timber joists and I-beams.
  • Knock-out tabs around the box flange provide slots for restraint straps to be fixed to the joist and wall where required.
  • Joist seals solve the problem of air leakage associated with built in timber joists.
  • They are designed to meet the requirements of Part L Building Regulations regarding increased insulation and air leakage and provide an effective and easy to install solution.
