Application
The Insulated Loft Hatch is designed to fit into a structural membrane of a joint-less plasterboard ceiling system.
Description
This 550x700mm Insulated Loft Hatch with picture frame meets Part L of the Building Regulations U-value 0.034 W/m²K. When installed, it provides the clear opening size of 520 x 620 mm, which meets the latest NHBC Guidelines. The loft hatch is manufactured from Zintec Steel with a 0.9 mm thick door and frame and incorporates a 40 mm thick Danopren TR40 insulation infill to the rear of the door.
Features and benefits:
- Lightweight door design and draught sealed.
- Aesthetically pleasing due to the near, clear and modern finish.
- The hatch is powder-coated RAL 9010 30% gloss as standard (other RAL colours are available upon request).
- The dropdown action of the loft hatch is operated from below by way of a tee-key (included with the loft hatch). Extended 500 mm tee-keys are available as an extra over option for even easier operation from floor level.
- The structural opening size must be at least 7 mm larger than the panel size.
- Non fire, acoustic and airtight rated.
- Manufactured in the UK and delivered fully assembled and ready to install.
