Application

Formwork is constructed on site to the size and dimensions specified. Smooth faced ply boards are used on all surfaces that will be cast face.

Steel reinforcement (to structural engineers spec) is then installed and tied into place.

The concrete is poured into the formwork. Treads are finished by hand and can achieve a polished finish. All surfaces which are not exposed will be left with a cast face finish. A poker is used to vibrate the concrete and remove large pockets of air.

Following a curing period the formwork can be removed and the surfaces sealed.
