Imperma SBS

A heavy duty tanking and damp proof membrane comprising an innovatory synthesis of compatible bitumens and SBS rubbers combined with a spun bonded polymer carrier. Manufactured to include a special selvedge to improve bond strength at the laps.

The membrane is suitable for application by traditional hot bitumen or torch-on installation techniques and is suitable as a damp proofing membrane under tiled or grano floors in aggressive environments such as food factories, breweries and dairies. Membranes may also be loose laid if required.

May be applied to concrete, smooth brickwork and blockwork or screeded substrates and is resistant to those chemicals with which it is likely to come into contact. When properly applied, the membrane achieves Grade 4 (archive status) as defined within BS 8102, Table 1.

Joint laps:

Minimum laps of 100 mm are recommended.
