Application
Sealing of the overlapping and perimeter joints of breather membranes, vapour barrier membranes. May also be used as a standalone sealing tape between sheathing board horizontal and vertical butt joints and at the interface with the board and slab edge.
Description
A proprietary single-sided adhesive tape for interior and exterior use, providing a high-performance air and weather-tight seal to linear joints between membranes and other types of narrow construction joints.
Usually primerless adhesion to most common substrates which should be dry, grease , dust and debris free. Consolidate the bond by applying pressure with a stout seam roller by rolling over the top of the tape where there is a solid surface underneath.

Primer AT140 is required when bridging over known barriers to adhesion such as over-applied and smeared Fire Rated Silicone based sealants applied between horizontal and vertical butt joints in sheathing boards and at the head & foot of sheathing boards at the slab edge interface. Apply the tape wrinkle and bubble free, do not stretch the tape when applying. Apply in pre-cut short over lapping sections or continuously dierct from the roll. |
