Description

The IKO Permaphalt warm roof system is a specially formulated mastic asphalt roofing solution that provides long-term durability, increased fatigue resistance, improved temperature stability, and ease of installation. IKO Permaphalt warm roof systems are suitable for both intensive and extensive green roof systems.

Classified BROOF(t4) in accordance with BS EN 13501-5: 2005 fire classification. This enables unrestricted use within Part B4 of the Approved Documents of the Building Regulations (tested under ENV1187). This is based on specific system build-up testing, so please contact IKO for further clarification or refer to the product BBA certificate, where applicable.

Type	IKO ultra S-A air and vapour control layer. Guidance for specification option: S-A VCL (self-adhesive) is a fully bonded self-adhesive, polyester reinforced, SBS modified bitumen air and vapour control layer with an aluminium core. It has an upper surface finish of fine mineral granules. The self-adhesive coating underside is protected by a release film. IKO ultra T-O air and vapour control layer. Guidance for specification option: T-O VCL (torch-on) is a fully bonded torch-applied, polyester reinforced, SBS modified bitumen air and vapour control layer with an aluminium core. It has an upper surface finish of fine sand and a thermo-fusible film on the underside.
Fixing	Self-adhesive backing. Guidance for specification option: For IKO ultra S-A air and vapour control layer. Torch-applied. Guidance for specification option: For IKO ultra T-O air and vapour control layer.
