Description
Hush Batten 70 has been designed as a resilient composite batten that reduces impact sound transmission between separating floors.
Using this product allows the construction of a spacious service void within timber joisted floors and it provides long lasting support for floating timber or chipboard floors.
Hush Batten 70 also complies with Robust Details FFT1 over concrete and steel and can also be used to significantly improve the performance of timber separating floors within refurbishment projects.
It is made from dressed timber and can be used over concrete or timber floors to provide an Approved Document E 2003 compliant acoustic floor solution.
The battens are supplied with a factory bonded acoustic felt base which is a rot-proof, high density (90 kg/m³) polypropylene, having a very high resistance to long term compression.
