A mechanical pinning system to stabilise masonry walls by securing them to internal floor joists and stud walls (after stiffening with ply bracing).
Application
- Suitable for end or parallel joist fixing in all masonry types in most types of timber floor construction.
- Can be used in conjunction with HeliBars to form part of the HeliBeam system.
Description
A remedial tie system, using specialist 304 or 316 stainless steel ties to stabilize bulging masonry walls by utilizing the diaphragm action of internal floors.
Features and benefits:
- Utilizes a self-tapping action to establish connection to two or three joists whilst the tie is bonded into the masonry wall.
- Maximum 600 mm centre spacing.
- Supplied in packs of ten.
