Application

Purpose:

Create a continuous, flexible waterproof and airtight barrier with The Goat to prevent air leakage and water ingress in above- and below-ground applications.

Typical areas of use:

Timber & masonry sealing – Airtightness at junctions, cracks, penetrations, interfaces.
Metal & cement board protection – Weatherproof layer helping prevent moisture-related corrosion.
Roof structures – White solar-reflective coating to reduce heat gain and extend roof lifespan.
External basement walls – Robust waterproof layer resisting lateral moisture pressure.

Preparation:

Surfaces clean, dry, free from dust/grease/loose material.
Fill gaps/cracks with compatible filler.
Prime only where required, per Intelligent Membranes guidance.

Application method:

Apply by brush, roller, or spray in even coats to specified film thickness.
Apply a second coat where required; follow coverage rates in the The Goat application guidance.

Conditions:

Minimum +5 °C during application and curing; protect from rain, frost, mechanical damage until cured.

Clean-up:

Wash tools and equipment with water immediately after use.
