Glazed Screen
Composite glazed screen system, manufactured from timber and aluminium.
Alu-Timber composite glazed screen system consists of a range of mullion and transoms, designed to provide framing up to 4000 mm high at 1000 mm centres. The frames comprise of internal timber frames, manufactured from Larch as standard but available in a range of timber species, bonded to external aluminium profiles, with a flexible seal between the timber and aluminium framing sections.
Performance Standards:
- The Alu-Timber range has exceeded the requirements of BS 6375, achieving 600 Pa for air, 500 Pa for water, and wind resistance to 2400 Pa.
- Wind loadings and calculations are undertaken to BS 6399 and CWCT standards.
