A standard package of components providing a roof window with an automatic smoke ventilation facility.

Features and benefits:

• Single flashing kit for slate or tile roofing.

Glazing:

- Code 7040:

• 6.8 mm laminated inner pane with low-e coating; 15 mm Argon filled cavity; 4mm toughened outer pane.
• Thermal performance (U-value): 1.3 W/m²K.
• Sound insulation (Rw): 35 dB.
• Light Transmittance (Tv): 0.68.
• Total solar energy transmittance (g): 0.46.

Smoke vent:

– SD0L140:

• For standard installation in slate up to 8mm thick; roof pitch 15–90°.
• 1 x GGU SK06 007040 roof window – 1140 mm wide x 1178 mm high, with pre-installed motor.
• 1 x KFX 210 control system (comprising control panel, smoke sensor and break glass point).
• 1 x EDL SK06 0000 flashing.

– SD0W140:

• For standard installation in tiles up to 120 mm in profile; roof pitch 15–90°. Also for interlocking slate, thatch and profile sheeting
• 1 x GGU SK06 007040 roof window – 1140 mm wide x 1178 mm high, with pre-installed motor.
• 1 x KFX 210 control system (comprising control panel, smoke sensor and break glass point).
• 1 x EDW SK06 0000 flashing.

Installation products:

• Insulation collar – Code BDX 2000: Optimizes the insulation around the window frame by preventing heat loss and eliminating cold bridges. Includes underfelt collar.
• Underfelt collar – Code BFX 1000: Ensures a weathertight seal between the roof window and the roof.
• Vapour barrier collar – Code BBX 0000: Prevents vapour from reaching the roof construction and so prevents interstitial condensation.
