FR Oil System

Rubio® Monocoat FR Oil System for parquet flooring is a fire-retardant system that combines a pre-treatment with the fire-retardant Rubio® Monocoat FR Base and a finish with Rubio® Monocoat FR Oil – which is the fire-retardant modified version of Rubio® Monocoat Oil Plus 2C. The system is not film-forming, does not contain any salts and has a limiting effect on smoke development.

Thanks to these unique characteristics, Rubio® Monocoat

FR Oil System is the first flame-retardant oil system in the world that can present a Bfl-s1 certification on oak (5 mm top layer). Rubio® Monocoat FR Oil System obtained a Cfl-s1 certificate with a 2.5 mm oak top layer.
