Forbo Marmoleum® Linear - Striato Textura
Application

Internal use, all busy commercial and public sector locations.

Description

A range of embossed linoleum floor coverings with a linear design structure, offering two textures: flow and driftwood.

Features and benefits:

  • The collection offers two different types of surface embossing: flow and driftwood.
  • The embossing improves the slip resistance of the floor (R10).
  • Floor imperfections, due to usage and dirt particles, are hidden from the eye.
  • Complies with all the requirements of EN ISO 24011.
  • All Marmoleum is produced using 100% renewable electricity.
  • All Marmoleum site offcuts can be returned to Forbo for reprocessing using a 'Back to the Floor' initiative.
  • After Marmoleum’s long life, it can be incinerated for landfill, and this reclaims more energy that is used in production. It is also biodegradable in a controlled environment.
  • Marmoleum has natural bacteriostatic properties which are confirmed by independent laboratories, even against the bacteria MRSA.
  • Resistant to diluted acids, oils, fats and to conventional solvents. Not resistant to prolonged exposure to alkalis
  • Marmoleum is made of 97% natural materials, Marmoleum contains PEFC certified wood flour, Marmoleum is free of PVC, PET, synthetic rubber and plasticizers.
  • The weighted average of the Marmoleum product range is CO₂ neutral (cradle to gate) - without offsetting.

Suitable adhesives:

  • Eurocol 414 Euroflex Lino Plus: a synthetic resin dispersion adhesive with a high initial grab.
  • Eurocol 614 Eurostar Lino Plus: a Superior acrylic dispersion, very low VOC-emitting adhesive with a high initial grab. Specify where low-emission adhesives are required for BREEAM section HEA 9 credits.
