Forbo Marmoleum Terra
Application

Internal use, all busy commercial and public sector locations.

Description

Linoleum flooring with a contrasting structure inspired by igneous rocks, complying with all the requirements of EN ISO 24011.

Features and benefits:

  • Offers an authentic mix of colour, creating a versatile effect that can be used with other items in the Marmoleum collection.
  • Can be manufactured in 3.5 mm decibel construction, offering 18 dB impact sound reduction.
  • Marmoleum is made from 97% natural raw materials, and is biodegradable in a controlled environment.
  • All Marmoleum site offcuts can be returned to Forbo for reprocessing using a "Back to the Floor" initiative. After Marmoleum’s long life, it can be incinerated for landfill, and this reclaims more energy that is used in production.
  • All Marmoleum is produced using 100% renewable electricity.
  • Marmoleum has natural bacteriostatic properties which are confirmed by independent laboratories, even against the bacteria MRSA.
  • Resistant to diluted acids, oils, fats and to conventional solvents. Not resistant to prolonged exposure to alkalis.
  • Marmoleum is made of 97% natural materials, Marmoleum contains PEFC certified wood flour, Marmoleum is free of PVC, PET, synthetic rubber and plasticizers.
  • The weighted average of the Marmoleum product range is CO2 neutral (cradle to gate) - without offsetting.

Adhesives:

  • Eurocol 414 Euroflex Lino Plus: a synthetic resin dispersion adhesive with a high initial grab.
  • Eurocol 611 Eurostar Lino Plus: a Superior acrylic dispersion, very low VOC-emitting adhesive with a high initial grab – to be specified where low-emission adhesives are required for BREEAM section HEA9 credits.

Application:

Internal use, all busy commercial and public sector locations.
