Application

  • Warm roofing systems including tapered/cut to falls.
  • Accessible roofs, including green roofs, terraces, balconies.
  • Heavy load roofs, including vehicle access and plant.
  • Internal insulation, including floors, walls and soffits.
  • Floor insulation in industrial environment.
  • Ground and perimeter insulation.
  • Underground/basement insulation.

Description

Features & Benefits:

  • Non-Combustible Euroclass A1 to EN 13501-1:2007.
  • Waterproof & moisture resistant due to its hermetically closed glass cell structure.
  • High compressive strength and dimensionally stable.
  • Highly resistant to all forms of infestation and vermin.
  • Resistant to organic solvents and acids.
  • Insulation manufactured primarily from recycled glass (≥60%).
  • Long-term efficiency and thermal performance over time.

Compressive Strength:

FOAMGLAS® insulation has a high compressive strength, capable to take high loads without deformation or deflection due to its rigid cell structure. FOAMGLAS® passes EN 826 Annex A that defines the uniform load bearing capabilities of insulations which do not compress before the load capability is recorded.

FOAMGLAS® is dimensionally stable, neither shrinks nor swells and does not slump over time. It has a low co-efficient of expansion within the same range to steel, wood and concrete.
