Application
The Two Hour Fire Rated Metal Door Access Panel is designed for use as an access hatch, for application into plasterboard walls and ceilings from 8–32 mm thickness, including double boards. Will fit into the structural membrane of a joint-less plasterboard wall and ceiling system.
Designed for inspection purposes in areas where regular maintenance to services is required, rather than personnel access - consult manufacturer for details.
Description
Save both time and money by choosing the FlipFix Easy Install range of Two Hour Fire Rated Metal Door Access Panel with picture frame, manufactured in the UK from in 0.9 mm Zintec steel.
The FlipFix device negates the need to baton out the aperture prior to installation as the Flipfix device merely lamps to the plasterboard (still able to screw through the side of the frame to secure into position if required).
The FlipFix Easy Install Access Panels are designed for installation into the wall or ceiling and have a metal faced door which is designed to fit straight into a pre-cut hole using the pop out cutting template provided with the panel. The panel has a 25 mm picture frame and is supplied with a budget Flush Lock as standard (other options are available upon request).
The panel is manufactured from 0.9 mm Zintec steel. It has a fully removable door and is powder coated RAL9010 30% Gloss (other colours are available upon request).
The FlipFix access panels are designed for inspection purposes only and are not suitable for personal access. The panel is two hour fire rated as standard in accordance with B.S.476: Part 22:1987.
The FlipFix range of access panels are available in a range of stock (off-the-shelf) sizes and bespoke options are available upon request.
