Description

FIREFLY Membrane WP is a non-combustible, fire resistant membrane that achieves Class A2 (EN 13501-1). Vapour permeable and suitable for use as a lining within ventilated facade systems, including applications above 18 metres.

FIREFLY MEMBRANE WP is a strong, breathable woven glass substrate aluminised on one side, suitable for jointing with foil tape.

Features and benefits:

  • Weatherproof and breathable, FIREFLY Membrane WP is designed to be a vapour permeable, reflective insulation layer in commercial facades and rain screen cladding systems.
  • Classified A2 (EN13501-1), suitable for use over 18 m – combining non-combustible fire resistance with traditional construction membrane performance requirements.
  • Ideal for upgrading fire performance both on remedial work and new installations of cladding and rain screen systems.
  • Outstanding strength and durability both before and after age testing, demonstrating sustainable performance attributes when weathered.
  • Lightweight, flexible, simple to install and resistant to damage during installation at temperatures as low as -40°C.
  • Jointed by foil tape.
