Fire Roller Shutter Doors

Galvanised steel face fixed electrically operated, 1 or 4 hour fire resisting Roller Shutter Door(s), tested to BS EN 1634:1 2018, Door(s) supplied with coil casing and automatic self closing mechanism.

·        76mm Deep concave lath

·        Galvanised steel guides.

·    PP400 - 24 Volt electrical re-set solenoid release mechanism (connection to fire alarm system and supply of 24 volt DC signal BY OTHERS) complete with thermal fusible link backup facility.

·        Emergency operation via hand chain.

·        ‘Deadman’ type push button station (ie. continuous pressure to close).

·        240 Volt, single phase motor unit.

·        Built on pre-wired starter.

·        Safety Brake.

·        Polyester powder coat finish to both sides of Curtain, Bottom rail, Guides, Endplates, Coil Casing and Motor Cover in one of our standard colours from the BS4800 or RAL ranges.

Automatic self-closing activated by a thermal fusible link, which disengages the clutch mechanism on the motor or hand chain unit when the surrounding temperature reaches 72ºC.

Alternatively, the shutter can be linked into the buildings fire alarm system via a 24 volt solenoid release. A fusible link can also provided as a fail-safe back up.

Features and benefits:

• Hand chain or electrical operation, both options come complete with a built in feature that allows the shutters to self-close under a controlled descent.
• Various arrangements are available, which when energized or de-energized allow the shutter to self close normally working on a 24 volt D.C. circuit, further details are available on request.
• All parts not galvanized are painted in one coat of protective primer. Powder coat finish is available as an optional extra to BS 4800 and RAL 840 HR colour ranges, colours available on request.
