The barrel deflection conforms to the necessary British Standard BS 6323-5, the fabric can withstand temperatures in excess of 1000°C and the two section bottom rail allows smooth operation of the curtain. The fire barrier shall be powered by an internal 24 V d.c electric motor that has all of the applicable safety standards.
Fully compliance-tested and include fail-safe features enabling them to operate even if there’s a power failure.
The Flameshield fire curtains have the added benefit of good aesthetics which blend neatly with any venue’s decor. End plates, guides and hoods can even be supplied in a variety of colours.
Egress switches, access switches, obstruction warnings, and heat and smoke alarms are fully tested to the ancillary equipment Annex H as stipulated by BS 8524-1.
Features and benefits:
All fire curtains are tested and approved by Warrington Fire Research Centre and Exova. Tests are fully compliant and in accordance with BS 8524-1/ BS EN 1634-1 for fire and radiation (radiation and tenability replaces the insulation zone) and BS EN 1634-3 for smoke containment. The construction and manufacture is in accordance with Warrington Test WF 405074 and Warrington Test WF 406515. Manufactured in accordance with certain sections of the European Standard BS EN 16034 implemented in 2015.
