Ecophon Extra Bass is a low frequency absorber. It makes speech more distinct and thereby increasing the listening comfort. Extra Bass consists of a glass wool core that is fully encapsulated in a micro perforated plastic film, which makes the product easy to slide and position on top of the ceiling. The absorber never needs to be cut as it is very flexible and can be bent or folded around ductings or similar when so needed.
Part of Ecophon Master Rigid systems and optional with Ecophon Gedina systems. Extra Bass reduces unwanted sounds at 125 Hz and greatly improves listening comfort and speech clarity in the room. The product consists of a glass wool core that is fully encapsulated in a micro perforated plastic film, making the product easy to slide and position on top of the ceiling panel.
For best acoustic performance, Extra Bass shall cover minimum 45% - 50% of the ceiling area and be placed in a U-shape along the walls, 1200 mm into the room.
