Description

Linear closed ceilings are created using panels of either the same width or by varying the sizes to create a smooth and uninterrupted design. This smooth appearance is achieved using a beveled edge on the ceiling panels


Features and benefits:

  • All ceiling systems are tested for resistance to wind loads.
  • Panels can be supplied in any length up to 6000 mm (as standard), have a thickness of 0.5 mm and are made from a high-corrosion resistant aluminium alloy.

-75C/ 150C/ 225C:

  • Closed aluminium ceiling panels, when installed create a closed smooth appearance.
  • All three widths can be clipped to a universal aluminium carrier.
  • Panels are locked on the carrier with a special fixing clip (150C/ 225C panels only).
  • Even when locked the panels are fully demountable with a simple tool allowing full access to services and equipment in the plenum.

-84C:

  • Slender, 84 mm wide box shaped panels with 16 mm closed joints that enhance the linear appearance.
  • Panels with integrated join flanges provide a visually closed ceiling.
  • If required the panels can be finished with the patented Luxacote® paint system.

-150F/ 200F:

  • Large panel sizes up to 200 x 6000 mm.
  • All panel modules are produced with a small optical bow, to control the effects of thermal expansion.
  • Panels can be fixed on carriers.

The panel carrier is black, made of 0.95 mm-thick stove-enameled aluminium and is provided with prongs to accommodate the panels in a width of 150 mm.

Carriers have a standard length of 5000 mm.

Guidance for specification option:

Can be combined and easily clipped on a universal carrier. Panels can be joined by using the panel splice. Locking clips for 150C are fitted crosswise on to the carrier, on top of the prongue in order to fully secure the panels and to create a ceiling able to withstand windloads.

The coating will consist of the tough and durable Luxacote® finish in nominal thickness of approximately 20 μm, applied in a continuous coil coating process ensuring uniform coating thickness. The Luxacote® finish guarantees optimum adhesion and excellent resistance to weathering.
