Description

The Ensign systems consist of pipes and fittings of 50–600 mm diameter for above ground applications with 100–600 mm diameter for below ground. Ensign can be completed by cast iron or stainless steel mechanical or push-fit joints and is capable of withstanding up to 5 bar suitably withstrained.

Advantages:

  • Complete pipe system – an above and below ground drainage system.
  • Ductile iron couplings with electrical continuity for above ground.
  • Push-fit drain couplings – simplifying installation.
  • Ductile iron brackets – versatile and lightweight, allowing adjustment without dismantling the pipe system.
  • Acoustic drainage system - with exceed NR30 when fitted with acoustic brackets without pipe wrapping. (PAM have a number of test results at recognised laboratories to support this - consult manufacturer for information).
  • Easy access for maintenance, with an extensive range of access fittings.
  • Economical connections to waste pipes.
  • Superior internal coating for pipes – greater performance against exposure to aggressive substances.
  • Robust strength and no expansion make it the first choice for suspended drainage in basements.
  • New rodding branch for horizontal pipework offering significant installation savings.
  • Biggest range of radius curve branches in compliance with BS EN 12056 (part 2).
  • New multi-waste manifolds in 100 and 150 mm with 6 x 2" bsp inlets for low level connection.
  • Superior mechanical and impact-resistant properties.
  • Made from up to 97% recycled content.
  • 100% recyclable.
  • Predicted life 60 years for soil pipes and 80 years for rainwater.
  • Ensign soil is fire rated A1.
  • Ensign drain is fire rated A2 s1,d0.
