Application

The Ensign Drain range is a suitable choice for all below ground applications to minimize risk and maximize life.

Description

High-performance cast iron pipes and fittings designed for below ground use. Smartly designed to drain wastewater away when exposed to standard and/or hot and/or aggressive discharge. Highly resistant to external stresses that a below-ground application can put on a pipe system due to its strength and its zinc coating it can resist such an aggressive environment.  

Features and benefits:

  • Compliant with standard EN 877.
  • Long-lasting operational safety thanks to the robustness and stiffness (around 700 kN.m) of cast iron and the use of flexible mechanical couplings.
  • Long-life due to the high-quality application of a zinc layer in the coating process.
  • Ease of installation due to mechanical couplings assembled with simple tools.
  • Recycled content 99%.
  • 100% recyclable.
  • Hot water resistance: 24 h at 95°C.
  • Salt spray resistance: 1500 h.
  • Thermal cycle resistance: 1500 cycles between 15°C and 93°C.
  • Chemical resistance for 2≤ pH ≤13, up to 80°C.
