Heavy-duty commercial glass balustrade; a frameless and fully adjustable 3kN/m system.
Application
Both side and base fixing models are suitable for fixing to concrete or steel. Base fixing channel can be used with timber structures with appropriate accessories.
- Can be used to create a public safety barrier in larger commercial installations where there are areas susceptible to overcrowding, such as in theatres, shopping centres and grandstands.
- Can also be used with tall glass screens to created privacy screening, high-rise balconies, penthouses, restaurant terraces and roof terraces.
- The blast-resistant version is a heavy-duty safety barrier for public locations where crowding is likely, such as stadiums, train and metro stations, airports and large music venues.
Description
An aluminium channel system which holds glass panels in place for use on glass balustrades and partitions.
Features and benefits:
- Suitable for 25–33 mm glazing thicknesses.
- Pre-drilled.
- Side-drilled or base-drilled options.
- Fast to install.
- Designed to be installed without the need of ensuring the fitting surface is totally level.
- Fully adjustable using an adjustment system allowing horizontal alignment of each glass panel.
- Lightweight and extremely strong.
- 3 kN BS tested with less than 25 mm deflection.
- Tested up to 3 kN to BS 6180.
- Can be fortified using a conversion kit into a bomb-resistant balustrade system.
