Application

Suitable for light to medium use in both indoor and outdoor applications.

Installation:

First fix the base channel of the railing to the floor, then insert the inlay and the outer rubber of the Q-disc System.
Then position the glass. For larger glass panels, Q-Railing recommend using their MOD 1002 installation plate, which prevents the glass from tilting or the inlays from slipping.
Next insert the Q-discs between the glass panel and the inlays. A clicking sound confirms that the disc is correctly seated.
To secure the glass, tighten the discs with the Q-tool and a torque wrench.
Finally, insert the inner rubber into the base channel of the glass balustrade.

Description

Easy Glass Smart+ is available in two versions: one base channel for top mounting and one for fascia mounting. The adjustable version of the Q-disc System is available for glass panels between 17.52 and 21.52 mm. For maximum flexibility, the Smart+ range also features matching corners, end caps, claddings and trims as well as drainage profiles and shims for your glass balustrade. To complete the desired effect, ask us to powder-coat the raw aluminium components in a RAL colour of your choice.

The adjustable Q-disc System allows users to compensate for any unevenness and precisely align the individual glass panels of the glass balustrade. Conveniently, the assembly and alignment of the glass balustrade can be carried out entirely from the balcony.
