Dryshield
Description

A breathable, salt-resistant and water-repellent cream which acts as a primer for Drygrip Adhesive when installing ordinary plasterboard as part of the Dryzone System of rising damp treatment.

When applied to walls contaminated with groundwater salts from rising damp, Dryshield functions by hydrophobing the surface and weakening the crystallisation strength of salts which may form in or at the masonry surface. The wall can dry out and potentially damaging salts are kept away from plasterboard and other decorative finishes.

To be applied by a suitably qualified contractor.

Benefits:

  • Breathable.
  • Long-lasting formulation.
  • Deeply penetrates brick, stone and mortar to form a durable bond.
  • Quick, one-coat application by brush, roller or spray.
