Don & Low FloorTX FCM - Vapour Permeable Air Barrier

Daltex® FloorTX FCM has been developed to provide an air and watertight envelope around the external face of floor cassettes. Its build-up ensures that it offers temporary protection for the structure from wind-driven rain and snow whilst remaining vapour permeable to minimise condensation forming at the edge of the floor cassettes and junction with the wall panels. Additionally, sealing it to the air and vapour barrier on the wall panels provides air tightness to the intersection between the floor cassette and walls.

• Daltex® FloorTX FCM conforms to the Construction Products Regulation (EU Regulation No. 305/2011 as it has effect in the United Kingdom), Underlay for discontinuous roofing (Annex ZA of EN 13859-1) and is manufactured under the control of an ISO 9001 quality management system. 
• Good resistance to water penetration.
• Good water vapour transmission properties.

Rolls should be stored flat on a clean, level surface and kept under cover. Once the underlay is applied to the floor, the primary wall covering should be installed within one month. 

Method of installation:

The membrane should be installed as detailed in national building regulations for this product and specific installation instructions as supplied with the product. Care should be taken to ensure that the coloured side of the membrane is facing outermost.
