The Door Systems is part of the Dfendoor range of doors. The SDS Dfendoor is a resilient, hard wearing and hygienic doorset, ideal for high-traffic, high-wear hospital environments. As well as

being extremely tough, with minimal maintenance requirements compared to timber and laminate products.

The door System is designed specifically for inward opening Ambulant WC’s. These systems are designed to allow the door to swing outwards in the event of a patient falling or requiring assistance. An inward opening door would often restrict this from being possible, so the option to open the door outwards is extremely critical, as outlined in Building Regulations Approved Document M.
