Self-limiting heating cable, for hot water temperature maintenance applications.
Application
Suitable for temperature maintenance of hot water supply and other fluids that need to maintain a certain temperature.
Not approved for use in drinking water.
Description
Self-limiting heating cable with coloured outer sheath.
Features and benefits:
- Can be cut to length on site (or drums can be supplied).
- PVC free.
- Black version is UV-protected.
- The self-limiting capability of the cable ensures that the output of the cable increases or decreases according to ambient temperature.
- Ensures hot water in all taps, and provides savings when circulation of the whole pipe system is unnecessary.
- Compliant with DIN VDE 0254: 1994-06.
Note: The cables must be over-temperature protected by a thermostat. Must be protected by a RCD with a maximum trip current of 30 mA.
