Application

The CSG 11840 hydraulic rising bollard is particularly suitable for protecting entrances and perimeters in high-risk and high-traffic environments such as retail sites, train stations, hotels, commercial warehouses, embassies, bus stations, ports, oil and gas refineries, and military installations. Its crash-tested design provides robust vehicle-borne threat mitigation while allowing controlled vehicle access when needed.

Ideal for locations where space, appearance, and operational flexibility are important, the CSG 11840 offers a safer, more adaptable solution than static bollards. Its hydraulic operation, combined with a pressure sensor safety feature, ensures both security and safe functionality.

The bollard’s ability to withstand multiple crash impacts, along with its quick-replacement ground socket, makes it an excellent choice for sites requiring rapid re-securing after an incident. Available in various RAL colours or with decorative sleeves, the bollard can be tailored to blend with its surroundings, making it as visually discreet as it is strong.

With easily accessible subsurface components for maintenance, the CSG 11840 is a reliable, efficient, and low-disruption solution for securing critical access points in demanding environments.

Description

The CSG 11840 is a crash tested, hydraulically operated bollard. It is an alternative to a static bollard where access is required, but crash tested for added security from a counter attack.
