CS Wallglaze® Wallflex®

Description

A two pack, very durable solvent free polyurethane surface coating, suitable for interior and exterior use. The system has anti-microbial properties (including resistance to MRSA) and can be decontaminated from radioactivity.

One coat of CS Wallglaze® Multi Surface Primer, at 6-14 m²/ litre

For ceramic tiles, melamine surfaces, brickwork/blockwork, vibro-concrete and wet areas.

One coat of CS Wallglaze® White Primer, at 7-9 m²/ litre

For plaster, plasterboard, cementitious screeds and non-vibrated concrete.

Features:

  • Can be radiation decontaminated (complies with Health Building Note 26 'Facilities for Surgical Procedures: Volume 1').

  • System incorporating hygienic mastic should be used in areas where positive/negative pressure or temperature cycling occurs and when system is applied in wet areas (e.g. bathrooms/shower areas).

  • Healthcare: operating theatres, treatment rooms, cat. 1, 2 and 3 ACDP clean rooms/laboratories, X-ray areas.
  • Food and pharmaceutical process areas requiring surface finishes with high chemical resistance.
  • Schools - laboratories and heavily trafficked corridors.
  • Swimming pool halls and changing areas.
  • Bathrooms/shower rooms.
  • Prisons and police stations - cells and communal areas.
  • Kitchens - live steam/steam cleaning.

Fire performance:

  • BS 476-7: Class 1.
  • BS 476-6: Designated 0.

Operational temperature:

Once applied and cured, CS Wallflex is stable in temperatures between -15°C and +80°C.

Product Options

Colour:

A range of colour options are available, including BS 4800, RAL or NCS 2nd Series type colours. Colour matching to a specific sample can also be achieved.

Finishes:

Eggshell.

Flexible mastic:

  • The mastic is a single pack, moisture curing polysiloxane with inbuilt biocides.
  • It can be used either underneath or on top of the CS Wallglaze® coatings.
  • The mastic is applied via a cartridge gun to all dissimilar surfaces/ materials and any junction that may cause cracking, after the primer but before any undercoat or topcoat.
