Application

Suitable for applications where both noise control and airflow are required, the louvres can be installed as standalone screens, or can be integrated into building facades. Applications include:

  • Car parks, plant rooms, substations, cooling towers and any other application that requires both sound attenuation and ventilation.
  • Areas where sound levels that escape from exterior or interior walls need to be minimized.

Description

Acoustic louvres suitable for applications where both noise control and airflow are required.


Features and benefits:

  • Weighted sound reduction of 10–19 dB, depending on model. Chevron double bank designs offer maximum sound attenuation and are sight proof.
  • Mineral wool infill material with acoustic, thermal and fire resistant properties. Water repellent to prevent moisture build up, damp and rot.
  • Galvanized mesh on the back and underside of louvre blades maximizes noise reduction performance.
  • Supplied as modules for ease of installation.
  • Can be installed as standalone screens, or can be integrated into building facades. 
  • Can be used in conjunction with any Construction Specialties rain defence, ventilation or screening louvre systems, if required.
  • Manufactured from galvanized mild steel as standard (aluminium options available; consult manufacturer for details). 
  • Supplied unfinished as standard or can be polyester powder-coated to RAL Classic colours.
  • A range of accessories, including blanking panels, bird/ vermin screens, insect mesh and louvred doors are available if required.
