Overhead sectional door with integrated dual drive motors, and a state-of-the-art design eliminating springs and balancing.

With a new lifting mechanism without wires and balancing, a new drive solution for opening and closing, and a new continuous power source including batteries, the Crawford OH1142P Dual Drive opens up a whole range of operational benefits.

Features and benefits:

  • 42 mm-thick, 545 mm-high, diamond grid steel panels.
  • Maximum 3.6 x 3.6 m.
  • 13 standard RAL colours (external).
  • Thermal transmittance 1.0 W/m²K (full-panel 5 x 5 m steel door).
  • Opening/ closing speed: up to 0.3 m/s.
  • ASSA ABLOY Insight IoT Gateway included as standard.
  • Top, bottom and side seals and seals between door sections
  • Standard track system in galvanized steel.
  • Compliance with all operational and safety instructions in EU Directives and the standards of the European Standardization Committee (CEN).
  • Operating system: Electrical, dual drive integrated in bottom section.
  • Glazing alternatives vary from full-vision panels to individual windows in a rectangular or oval shape. The windows are available in acrylic or hardened glass.
  • Life time expectations: 200 000 door cycles or ten years, when service/ replacement program has been performed.

Fixed sections can advantageously fill space around new doors that are smaller than the wall opening. Fixed sections are available in top and side sections. Fixed sections are supplied in the same colour and construction as the door leaf.

To discourage burglars to use the windows as a way in, protective window grating can be installed on the inside of the door.

  • Standard delivery is dull black, other colours available on request.

Wider door panels and panels with windows are reinforced with metal profiles that act as trusses. These trusses reduce bending of the panel caused by wind loads or when the door leaf is in the horizontal position and is bending under its own weight.

A standard Crawford OH1142P Dual Drive overhead sectional door is considered locked when it is closed, fulfilling the lifting demands in the standards EN 1627, EN 1630 and SSF 1074 without any additional mechanical locks.

When the door is standing still in any position, the breaks are always applied providing a good resistance against anyone trying to lift the door. The force needed to lift the door is comparable with other doors that have a lock bolt.
