Coated glass which works on the outer surface of any window to reduce (and in most cases prevent) the formation of external condensation on modern, highly efficient glazing.
The Guardian ClimaGuard® range is designed for use in insulating glass in residential, commercial and architectural projects. The low-emissivity coatings provide excellent thermal insulation with a neutral appearance. ClimaGuard® coated glass can be combined with clear float, SatinDeco, LamiGlass and SunGuard Solar ranges of Guardian products to provide sophisticated solutions for energy conservation.

Product Options | Coating: - ClimaGuard® A+: This is for use in residential or commercial buildings. It offers a U-value as low as 1.2 W/m²K in an argon filled double glazing unit and is ideal where window energy ratings apply and high solar gain is factored as a requirement, utilising high g-values above 71% with clear float and 73-74% with low iron glass. - ClimaGuard® DS: This range is for use in residential building. It offers a U-value as low as 1.3 W/m²K in an Argon filled double glazing unit. ClimaGuard® A 1.1 Specifically designed for use in architectural buildings. It has a very neutral appearance and can achieve U-values of 1.1 W/m²K in an argon filled double glazing unit. - ClimaGuard® A 1.0: Lowest U-value, low-E glass range ideal for use in architectural buildings. It offers a U-value as low as 1.0 W/m²K in an Argon filled double glazed unit. By utilising a high light transmission of 72% and mid range solar factor of 54% this product is ideal for specifications like the Passivhaus window specification where it provides a manageable level of solar heat gain.
