Clearline® Structural Glass Balustrade System

Neaco’s Clearline structural glass balconies provide the ultimate visibility, sunlight penetration and minimalist looks. In accordance with BS EN 12600 class 1, the toughened glass panel infills can be clear or tinted to create the ultimate penetration.

The structural glass is fixed in place by aluminium floor channels with integrated rubber seals which insulate the structural glass and eliminate the need for the more traditional messy mastic detail.

Neaco can also create a stand-out specification for curved glass balconies to provide you with a beautiful high-end aesthetic. For a distinctive extra touch, we can also apply graphics on glass panels to generate a tailored etched Design.

• Continuous structural glass is fixed in place by aluminium floor channels with integrated rubber seals which insulate the structural glass and eliminate the need for the more traditional messy mastic detail.
•  Structural glass is toughened in accordance with BS EN 12600 class 1 with options including clear or tinted grey, bronze, green or blue with the option of acid etching or an applied emblem/logo.
• Manufactured from recyclable materials.
•  The structural glass can be capped by an (ovular or tubular) aluminium top rail which is warm and comfortable to the touch with a nylon-coated finish available in a choice of solid or metallic colours.
• Available with an offset handrail option.
•  The range includes a Low Iron glass option offering a noticeably clearer panel than the inherent green cast of standard clear float glass used in balustrade applications.
•  Neaco can use a heat-soaking process to accelerate crystallisation, reducing the risk of potential breakages when the glass is in situ (prices for this service are available upon request).
•  Suitable for buildings likely to be used by children, where safety on staircases and landings is paramount as the system is very difficult for children to climb and there are no gaps through which they could pass.
